New 3D visualizations of the house interior project.
The project is inspired by traditional Japanese wabi-sabi and Aman Resorts design aesthetics.
A calm, minimalist and harmonious living space has been created that celebrates imperfection and natural beauty.
Here are some of the aspects we used to create this style:
1. Understanding Wabi-Sabi:
Wabi-sabi is a Japanese philosophy that embraces the beauty of imperfection, transience and simplicity. Appreciate natural materials, muted colors and gracefully aged objects.
We incorporated wabi-sabi into our designs:
Natural materials: We chose materials such as wood, stone, bamboo and paper for furniture, flooring and decor elements.
Earthy colors: We used a muted color palette inspired by nature, including neutral tones such as beige, brown and grey.
Old and weathered look: We chose furniture and decor items that look weathered, worn or rustic.
2. „Safe Resorts“ aesthetics:
Aman Resorts are known for their luxurious yet impeccable designs that blend seamlessly with their surroundings. Their design is designed to create a peaceful atmosphere.
Simplicity: The design is simple and uncluttered, focusing on quality over quantity.
Integrating nature: We incorporated natural elements such as indoor plants, large windows for natural light and organic textures.
Open spaces: design with an open layout that allows for seamless movement between rooms and integrates the outdoor space.
Neutral Color Palette: Aman Resorts often uses neutral colors that complement the natural surroundings.
3. We combined Wabi-Sabi and Aman:
We wanted to combine these two aesthetics, find common ground between the minimalist luxury of Aman Resorts and the rustic simplicity of wabi-sabi.
Furniture: we chose minimalist furniture made from natural materials, such as wooden tables, woven chairs, stone countertops.
Décor: Handcrafted ceramics, aged ceramics and woven textiles that evoke the spirit of wabi-sabi.
Textures: We used textures reminiscent of nature, such as rough-hewn wood, smooth stone, and various fabrics.
Lighting: We chose soft, warm lighting that creates a soothing atmosphere, inspired by the lighting of the tranquil spaces of Aman Resorts.
Open layout: We created an open flow between rooms and designed spaces leading to the garden and outdoor area.
4. We scattered and selected thoughtful works:
We embraced the minimalistic aspect of both aesthetics. We chose only such decor elements and furniture that have a personal meaning or contribute to the general atmosphere. In this style, less is more.
5. Elements inspired by nature:
Both the wabi-sabi and Aman aesthetics emphasize a connection with nature. We have integrated indoor plants using bonsai trees and bamboo to add a touch of nature to the room.
6. Calm color palette:
In our color palette, we focused on neutral tones such as white, beige, soft gray and earthy brown. These colors create a calming and harmonious atmosphere.
7. Handmade and unique items:
We sought out handmade and unique pieces that showcase imperfections and celebrate craftsmanship. These items follow the wabi-sabi philosophy.
8. Personal touches:
We’ve added personal touches like artwork and photos that evoke a sense of nostalgia and connection with nature.
9. Natural textures:
We used textures that imitate natural elements, such as sisal rugs, linen curtains and wooden wall paneling.
10. Zen spaces:
We have designated places for relaxation and meditation, where you can sit quietly and appreciate the simplicity and peace of the space.
